where can I find accurate information regarding the status of the mountain passes in Himachal Pradesh?

I want to know when the high passes (such Rohtang Pass, Kunzam Pass, and the passes on the Manali-Leh road) will be open for regular traffic (and therefore, for public buses). Right now they are only open for jeeps, which are very very expensive. I do not want to take a jeep. I want to wait until the roads are open for buses. But no one seems to know. Everyone says something different. Some people say early June, some say mid June, some even say July! Where can I find ACCURATE information about the real status of these passes and when they are likely to open? Thank you.

If you are near Delhi visit the tourist travel service providers who operate daily bus services to Himachal and Leh.They will tell you and you can also book your tickets in advance.Or contact over phone by getting their number from MTNL directory.

why don't you contact HPTDC - tourism development corp of himachal ? they have offices in all metros? they should be able to advise better.
