I was flicking through channels on the tv last night , and i saw this group of people say they had to sacrifice something for their culture . so they got a baby cow and held it upside down and it was crying really loud , then after 2 minutes of just holding it there , they slit its throat , and then cooked it on there fire. i was so repulsed , and everyone who was standing around them looked just as disgusted as i was . if they have to sacrifice something why not sacrifice one of there own ( people ) , its not like the animal believes in there pathetic ridiculous culture . it made me so angry and i was crying for hours afterwards. why do people think that its ok to hurt and torture animals like that ?? animals and people have the same feelings , they feel pain too. if its ok to murder animals and get away with it, why isn't it ok to murder people and get away with it ??

I think the rationale goes something like this: People exhibit three qualities that, in animals are debatable. Intelligence, consciousness, and self-awareness. It's widely accepted that animals rely, act, and react by instinct, and not any cognitive function of identity.
Now, personally, I think all this is debatable. I know some pretty stupid humans who probably shouldn't be trusted with rational thought, let alone polluting the gene pool with their idiocy. Animals aren't deceptive, conniving, or manipulative. They never lie. If they had thumbs, they would no doubt take over the world.

Well not all people sacrifice animals some people like cannibals sacrifice humans for there ruler/god but I also feel the same way about why do they have to sacrifice little innocent animals, and when ever I see that stuff to I feel really sad and I want to burst with tears, but if you watch the history channel you can see so many people got away with murder, but it still doesn't mean its OK to kill innocent animals and I fell you pain too!!!!!!!

yes, i also feel the same way whenever i see things like that. it really feels bad. but with regards to your last statement, "if it is ok to murder animals and get away with it, why isn't it ok to murder people and get away with it??" it is because people and animals are different in such a way that we humans are the highest among all living creatures in the planet. we are a rational being. we have the skills to think, react and do some actions the way animals cannot...

Yes I just asked a question on here earlier that is so heartless and rude. I agree with you skin the people. The animal is innocent and I am calm but that angers the hell outta me.
