I'll either eat out for every meal or pay $15 a night for a mini-fridge and go to the grocery store for sandwiches. There is no microwave. What do you think?

We were just there in May, and went to convenience stores and bought stuff for breakfast and lunch without a fridge-the store was close, so we even saved the $15. This way, we went out to dinner at night at nice restaurants. Oh, but the best place for dinner is the California hotel downtown. $6.99 prime rib(great piece of meat) baked potato, green beans, all you can eat salad, and dessert.

It really depends on how long you're going to be there. If it's just for a few days, you will probably be better off eating out for each meal- there are plenty of restaurants/buffets to choose from, both pricey and inexpensive. If you're staying for a week or more, you might want to look for accommodations that offer a full kitchen, so you can prepare some meals in the room.

We've found that the best way to cut costs on food is to only eat 2 meals a day (brunch and supper). Don't pay extra for a mini fridge. If you want to chill something use the ice buckets that are provided.

It's best to talk to some locals there and find out where they go to eat out, that has good, affordable food. In a lot of places I have saved quite a bit of money just by talking to locals to see where some good restaurants are.

If not. It might be cheaper to pay for the fridge, depending on how long you are staying..and just going to the grocery store to get some groceries.

you go to vegas to have a good time, not eating bologns and cheese sandwiches. eat out enjoy the cusine, most hotels have small fridges in them already, and would recommend getting a six pack of pepsi to keep in the room. that is much less than out of the machines

For $15 plus the cost of food you could probably eat at most buffets that can fill you up for the entire day. You won't be hungry for the rest of the day. This is also a good time to meet with your friends and co-ordinate the rest of the day.

Many will give you the fridge for free just ask for it.
It is still cheaper to enjoy the buffets than to load up on sandwiches at the circle k.

Depends if it's only you or not. If it's only you, then it's better to out eat, if there is more than one person, it pays off to pay for the fridge.
