Those tears would say,
"Wow, thanks for letting us out. We need the release, and so do you. We've been pent up for too long.
"When did we go so out of fashion? Why doesn't anyone appreciate us anymore? We're GOOD for people. We help you to accept your feelings and to have a place to just let them flood out, and after that we make you feel so good for having the courage to let us free.
"Did you know that we give off as many endorphins as laughing does?
"But something happened to us. How did we fall into such bad times? Please tell, because we're so good for you, and big girls and big boys SHOULD cry. Please tell everybody. It's more cowardly to keep it all in or turn it all into our nasty cousins, anger and rage, than to have the courage to let us out of this prison you all hold onto with all your might, until you all have heart attacks or something. Whew! Thanks. It felt good to be able to talk there for a minute."
They're inside now, but I've often heard them say, "Susan is sorry for ever hurting anyone, even without knowing it."

that my heart breaks
though i try not to show it
how much more can I take?
i'm pathetic, i know it
all my suffering, hurt and pain
are nothing compared to others
but my tears are pouring like rain
and i can't stop the flow
i don't like the person i am
what does the Lord see in me
i don't do enough, never what i can
so i will go on with the show
...

if my tears could talk,
they would say how much i missed my mother
and how i wished i could have been more
and a better daughter
and how i wish i could hug her once more
and sing me to sleep
and that she's been gone too long
and that she should have taken me with her...

they would yell at you for wasting your time when you could be doing something wayyy better like sticking your whole head in an ice cream container

actually, i think crying often times takes the place of words...they are signs of intensity....they do not need words
