This is a tough question because there have been so many good QBs in college. I couldnt possibly just name one. Plus there have been alot of good QBs that were good in college, but did nothing in the pros. Tommy Frazier (95 Nebraska) in my opinion was the best. That guy was a monster on arguably the best college football team ever. Doug Flutie, Joe Montana, Matt Lienart, Ken Stabler, Danny Wuerful, Michael Vick, Ken Dorsey, John Elway, Joey Harrington, Vince Young...hell even Ryan Leaf was "good" in college.

What about Johnny Unitas?

That's the name of the trophy to the best senior QB.

Southern Cal's Matt Leinart. He pretty much played for the national championship (winning/splitting two of them) all three years of his starting career. Went 37-2 as a starter and won the Heisman. Had it not been for the great Vince Young's performance in the 2006 Rose Bowl, Leinart, who played well in that game, would have won three national championships depending on which poll you buy into.

Hard to argue with Matt Leinhart...Won 2 national championships and a Heisman...Only lost 2 games in 3 years...No one has gone undefeated in 3 years...

Good question - it is very hard to answer, but if someone held a gun to my head and made me answer, I would say doug flutie. He did not have a very good team around him, yet he did everything that the team needed. Apparently he could even drop kick extra points - although no one knew that until he played with the pats.

Danny Wuerfel. unfortunately he was a bust in the NFL and was deemed a product of the spurrier offense.
