this question is only for notre dame fans or people who really know about college football. I want to know what you think:

1. Who the starting QB will be, (Sharpley, Jones or Clausen)

2. Who they will upset, meaning which of these teams will they beat, (USC, Michigan, Penn State, UCLA)

3. What bowl do you think they'll get to and what the outcome of that game will be ex: Cotton Bowl ND: 24 Tennessee: 17

I know it's WAY too early to talk about it, but I'm bored.

I believe that the upcoming season is going to be like an Irish Wake... if ND is .500 it will be a monumental accomplishment considering the talent that graduated or that went pro. Coach Weiss will have a Ty Willingham year... and I bet the ND brass will cut the (Anglo) head coach a lot more slack.

1. probably sharpley to start out. Charlie says he knows the system the best DJ is the playmaker and Clausen is the best arm. I'll say Clausen starts the second half of the season.

2. USC... haha. that one is going to hurt. UCLA could be interesting. I give ND a decent shot against Michigan and Penn State.

3. I'm predicting 7 or 8 wins, a ranking near the end of the top 25 list, and a victory in a minor bowl game.

1. I wouldn't be surprised to see Evan Sharpley start the season at QB...but ultimately, before the season is over, it will be Jimmy Clausen

2. I think they will beat all the powerhouse teams they play, with the obvious possible exception of Southern Cal...They are better than Michigan, Michigan State, Penn State and UCLA...They won't do worse than 9-2...

3. Fiesta Bowl vs. Ohio State or Florida

Wow what is the kool aid in South Bend? Holy hell Notre Dame will be lucky to be 7-5 this year, let me repeat LUCKY. They are not going to beat USC, sure won't beat Michigan, Penn State, and UCLA on the road.

Not only are you prediciting a nine win season but a bowl win also. LOL when is the last time you won a bowl, the Reagan Administration?

It is a rebuilding year but I think they will have a winning record. Sharpley will start but Clausen will take over half way through the season. They will go to a bowl game and lose again. Because they have a big following they get chosen for better bowl games against better teams.

1.Clausen. He'll be like his brother at Tenn.

2.PennState and Ucla. He's young. He can't handle that kind of big game pressure.

3.Probably Fiesta or Peach. They always BCS material.

i do no longer see the offense doing greater valuable than final season. yeah rudolph, floyd and allen are returned and that i see kamara springing up right into a stable 2nd determination, yet they lost quite a few key gamers from that offense. dropping jimmy clausen is extensive and that i do no longer see dayne christ getting everywhere near to putting up the form of numbers clausen did final season. clausen had between the appropriate palms in college soccer final 365 days, and his accuracy is going to be missed. we've additionally seen interior the previous that unproven irish quarterbacks have difficulty of their first season. i additionally think of that its going to take a on the same time as for the offense to %. up on brian kelly's unfold offense scheme. in addition they lost 3 starters from a mediocre o-line. they have ten returning starters on protection nevertheless, so i see them convalescing in that component to the recreation. i actually think of that their time table has the aptitude to be exceedingly annoying and that i see them dropping to stanford, boston college, usc, and a pair of of the 4 video games against michigan st, pitt, army, utah. i think of they have an exterior shot at 9-3 yet i think of seven-5 is greater life like Sept. 4 PURDUE - W Sept. 11 MICHIGAN - W Sept. 18 at Michigan State - W Sept. 25 STANFORD - L Oct. 2 at Boston college - L Oct. 9 PITTSBURGH - W Oct. sixteen WESTERN MICHIGAN - W Oct. 23 at army (at Meadowlands - East Rutherford, N.J.) - L Oct. 30 TULSA - W Nov. 6 Open Date Nov. thirteen UTAH - L Nov. 20 military (at Yankee Stadium - Bronx, N.Y.) - W Nov. 27 at USC - L
