The sky appears blue because the particles the sun light travels through when it enters the atmosphere act like a prism. The "prism" seperates out the colors so that what you see is blue. It's the same reason why you see a more rainbow-like sky during sunrise & sunset -- just the sunlight is at a different angle when entering the atmosphere.

Water is blue because of the particles and algea in it, and it also reflects the sky.

The sky is blue because 3/4 of the earths surface is water and this is reflected like a mirror in the sky.

the sky is blue because during the day more bpue light particles are sctterd than red ones. at sunrise and sunset, more red particles are scatterd because of the position of the sun in the atmosphere and the light waves. red light refracts or bends more than blue light. it actually pretty simple once you know it.
