The year shouldn't be base off any religious fanatic propaganda icons its crazed. It should be off of real evidence, 365days, and not 6,000 year. Its too long, but its too late. Earth is 4.5 bill years, we can somehow make it really short writing in just like our equations right?
If they had the chance go back in time, and tell them change the year to 4.5bill woud you do it why?

wouldn't do it that way. I agree the current calender doesn't have a logical base, but scientific estiamtes of the earth can be off. even if off by 0.1%, that's 4.5 million years. better to usse a recuring astronomical event that could divide time into eons, like maybe planetary alignments. Pick soemthing thathappens once every 1000 to 10,000 years then we could be in the say, 5688th year of the current eon.
