i had some bleeding last night. it was bright red enough to wipe two times and cover the toilet paper, but stopped. is this enough blood to be worrying that it might be a placental abruption?

It's according on how far along you are in your pregnancy (i think)
This happened with my second pregnancy at just 7 months along. Not to gross you out or anything, but i had just woke up one morning to use the restroom, and i noticed a little blood on my panties. Not much, but enough to make me panic. Well, as i was peeing i noticed that i was peeing alot, or at least i thought so. Until i looked down in the toilet and saw nothing but blood. I got so dizzy. I wouldn't stop bleeding.
You need to at least go to the emergency room to get checked. It may be nothing, but it may be something serious. You don't wanna risk any chances right now. Good luck!!!! GO TO A HOSPITAL.........

i am pretty sure i just read your other question. the nurse told you that it is probably fine. now when you were bleeding did you have sex recently? if so this is common. i would probably not go to the er yet. monitor your babies fetal movement, if those are decreased to then go into the er, however if the bledding has stopped and the baby is moving then i would wait until regular hours and see the dr on monday. also i believe usually with a placenta abruption you bleed way more than 2 wipes.

With abruption, there is usually a lot more blood than that, but you should still contact your OB to be seen, just to make sure all is OK. If you are cramping, call their emergency number immediately! It probably is nothing but at least your mind will be at ease. PS don;t be afraid to call your OB with these questions (even after hours) they are used to it....

Its enough for me to tell you, that you should go to the doctor.
No bleeding during pregnancy is good especially as much as you say there is.
Even though it has stopped you should still contact the doctors.
