My first boyfriend told me, whilst we were going out, "The 3 things I hate most about you are your laugh, your smile and your teeth." My last boyfriend never said anything intentionally hurtful, but when he told me after about a year that showing me affection felt like a chore and that he largely preferred being with his friends I was pretty gutted.
