I used to work in a pet store and we were told that a general rule of thumb is one inch of fish per one gallon of water. Depending on how big your fish are you may have already maxed out. So, add up all your fishes inches and see what you got.

I will say that, with the exception of the comets, you have fish from the "cichlid" family, know to be territorial/aggressive. Inquire at the pet store for which other fish are compatible.
Good luck!

You could add an Oscar, a Green Terror, and a Silver Arowana.

All those fish, like the ones you have, are going to get way too big for a 10 gallon tank. Try getting rid of all but your Dwarf Gourami and then get a few more fish that only get to be 2 to 3 inches big.

If I were you I'd take the blue and the gold gouramis back to the store along with the knife fish. All are too big for a 10 gallon (especially the knife fish). I'd put the comets in their own tank (30+ gallons) and get some schooling fish like tetras or minnows to go in the 10 gallon. You could add shrimp, a snail or a frog for something different.

You are close to maxing out with a 10 gallon tank. A good rule of thumb is one inch of fish per gallon (but fatter fish will count as more).

When the gouramis grow, you may be over the limit. The ghost knife fish is a poor choice for such a small tank. He will grow far too long.

The only thing I would suggest adding at this point is a cory. Corys are small bottom feeders. A cory will serve to clean up some of the fish food that floats uneaten to the bottom of your tank before it begins to rot and poison your tank. When your other fish grow up, you'll either have to take them back to the pet store to trade for something smaller, or get a much larger tank.

What are you transferring to? Comets and gouramis need different water temperatures, so they shouldn't be in the same tank. The goldfish also produce a lot of wastes (ammonia) and can grow to over a foot each. Gouramis can be territorial and need some space. A black ghost knife will grow about 14" in a tank.

Oh dear...

With three Gouramis you already have far too much.

Dwarf Gouramis would be fine, because they only grow to 2 inches... I'm not so sure of the Blue Gourami, because they grow to 4 inches... But the Gold Gourami grows to 6 inches and would barely have room to turn around...

Comets are pooping machines, and should not be kept in with fish other than goldfish because of that.

Black Ghost Knifefish grow to around 18"...

Not a good mix!

You cannot add anymore fish unless you keep the dwarf gouramis and transfer the rest of them to another bigger tank, then maybe you could add some neon tetras.

For your information, ghostfish are nocturnal giants, they can reach a length of 50cm long while blue and gold gouramis (which are actually colour morphs of the same fish) require atleast a 30 gallon to survive happily.

The best temp for your goldfish is about 33 - 68 degrees F while your other fish need water at a temperature of about 74 - 80 degrees F. So what temperature is your water?? Because some of your fish are suffering from it! Also, is your tank even cycled? Because if not, you already have way too many fish for an uncycled tank. Please go here and read up on cycling a tank and New Tank Syndrome.
