Since my high school class ring, I can't remember buying jewelry for myself. However, my wife likes jewelry and has bought me a few pieces.
An Alexanderite ring (my birthstone) probably cost around $1,000.00
A gold coin ring around $700.00
A heavy gold bracelet around $600.00
And a gold necklace, around $300.00
And of course a $125.00 wedding band.

My engagement ring and wedding ring. They are very expensive and the stones and bands are real. I have them both covered with insurance.
~ The most sentimental piece of jewelry I have is a bead bracelet my 6 year old daughter made for me!

$50-75 necklace but it was gift; the most expensive I've bough is $30. I don't wear jewelry very often though.

Not sure why I bought it, and I never wear it, but its a gold nugget bracelet. It's around a half inch wide, and I believe I paid around $350.

I don't own a single piece of jewelry. Not even a wristwatch. Just never appealed to me.
