Only certain unions like the UFT United Federation of Teachers, but not the SEIU Service employees international union, I think they are weak, and ineffective.

i am a UAW member. we just want to protect the workers from being taken advantage of. we fight for fair wages, safe work enviroment and proper treatment.
sometimes we get a bad rap, but overall, i am a firm believer in what we stand for.
fyi. did you know the union membership has dropped form 33% of the work force to 13% since the 70s? sad.

Yes I would and I am already a Teamster. The union got me a lot of great wages and benefits, let alone better working conditions.

Probably not. I'm in deep south Louisiana and there are virtually no unions here, never have been.
