I'm glad that the government is actually cracking down and proving that celebrities are no exception because they are people too, and need to follow the law just like everyone else, they are no exception for anything!

Yes and I am waiting on Lindsay and Nicole join her. Why should they be treated any differently than the average person? She broke the law and then violated her probation. All her fans need to stop feeling sorry for the moron. Everyone knows that drinking and driving is a crime... Paris is dumb, but not that dumb. At least I hope not.

Actually it has turned out that now they are being unfair to her. Just because she a celebrity who is famous only for being famous the Judge gave 22 extra days?
The average individual with the same crime would have been released within 3 to 4 days with a good lawyer.

Besides jail time, she should have to look at intense morgue photos of people that have been killed by drunk drivers. I think this should be true of ANYONE that gets caught driving drunk! As for Paris herself, I believe in the old phrase: Don't do the crime if you can't do the time!

whats scary is why do we care how long she is in when murderers of children and family are let off with time served or to mental health facilities. I know she broke the law but she is not going to help us win the war or make tougher laws on really bad criminals no matter how much time she serves

Not really my call. She broke the law and now gets to do her time. Of course there are other people who deserve jail more than she does.

Why shouldn't she be in jail, if it were you or I we would be in jail. There shouldn't be a separate set of rules for the rich and famous.
