Do you really need an advanced graphics card? Yes - good deal. If not, you would be paying $900 more for 4 in, extra USB port, and a keyboard that lights up - just get a Macbook.

It's worth it...... as long as it is new, I have a new un-opened 17" 2.33GHZ core-2-duo, 2 gig 160GB for sale for 2400.00.....So $2100 for that model is a reasonable price... I might see if he would knock another 100 or so off based on that it is a core duo, but not much difference in speed or performance based on the one I have for sale...

For $2100 i could build you a 17" laptop, with 512mb dedicated nVidia 7600 pci-e video card, 2.0GHz Intel Core 2 duo cpu, 160gb hard drive, 2gb ram, and it comes with a bag, and it has 4 built in speakers + subwoofer and it has a/b/g wireless + bluetooth. A lot better of a system for the money. And i include Windows XP Pro or Vista Premium (add $50 for Vista Ultimate).
So if you want faster and better for gaming, then I would suggust you stick to laptop.
SO message me if you are interested

Why pay over $2,000 for a low quality Macbook Pro when you can get a Toshiba laptop for the same price? Toshiba makes high quality laptops and you know it. I would recommend a Toshiba Satellite M65-S9092.

The 17inch is so awkwardly big it might not be suitable for moving around much. I personally find the 15inch the ideal size.
