when you think about how big something is, you relate it in relativity to the world, generally, when thinking about something so huge, but the world, in space is just so small, so unimportant, but where does space go? its a big circle in my mind, because i try to think about how far it is and i think about it in relation to the world, and i cant get my mind out of that cycle to beyong that, and think about really, how "big" is space and where does it go and how far?

The universe is not only queerer than we suppose, but queerer than we CAN suppose.- J.B.S.Halane.
I just felt like putting in that quote.

Gee, I wish I could give the "God answer." They're always so easy.
When it comes to perceiving the Universe, you can't do it. Nobody can. In one respect it's infinite. In another, it's not. Trying to picture an infinite expanse of void is, I think you would have to agree, a fruitless and frustrating activity. The best you can do is be awed by it. Count yourself lucky. Many people never give it much of a thought. They miss out on all that frustrating and perplexing wonder.
Hey, if you think that one creates mind trap, how about this one: what if the Universe had never happened? Ooh, that one stings.
A little joke on myself, though. The God answer is no worse than any other answer anyone could give you to this question.

space is infinitly vast and getting bigger, may seem like a paradox. the concept of space is impossible to grasp and shouldnt be attempted to ponder. i too wondered its size and came to one conclusion, its really really big, so big that the human mind cant render and process such vast amounts of imformation. but if u really want to kno..... space is actually gettin smaller. think about how planets are formed.. after expanding, gasses and solids coming together cuz of gravity. the area of gas gets smaller and smaller until it collides and forms a planet or star or watever. now imagine the entire universe as a swirling ball of gas and solid. all that matter will and is being sucked into the center of the largest gravity field. eventualy, everything will callapse bak into wat it started and once again cause a big bang that will again send infintite amounts of matter into space only to repeat the cycle..... i hope that has helped.. lol. good luck with ur concept and hope u find ur own answer. bye

So far no one knows just how far it goes and what contains it and what is beyond it. It will be a long time before anyone even begins to figure out that one.
Space as we can see it is not empty at all. There is a lot out there even if we canpt see it.

to get from here to the edge of space would take two times the age of the earth at the speed of light before you got there, so space is pretty big, and space is expanding, and for where does it go, it is any place that we know it space doesnt go anywhere because space has anywhere and everywhere in it yte it still expands stretching out everything and anyplace so thats pretty much it

Nobody can truley answer this question, and nobody should try to think about it or try to comprehend, because our puny little minds are not capable of doing so. It will just give you a headache. I tried to do it once, and my head exploded. It was not a fun time.

in case you propose alien alien deliver's, then our strategies - our own stealth airplane are greater stable to % out than those meant large-stepped forward alien crafts, the two they're incompetant in concerns of stealth (no longer likely, they are able to construct machines which could shuttle tens to thousands of light years from the closest stars/planets) or they desire to be considered, in the event that they desire to be considered they does not be so incompetantly sneaky approximately issues, they had do some thing greater overt like faucet into our radio communications and broadcast a message (it does not be that onerous whether they did no longer understand the revealed protocols at first, they had opposite engineer them fairly at as quickly as). alien alien deliver's, like all "paranormal" and "supernatural" issues, collapse once you think of roughly them heavily.

"space" is too abstract to think of this way.
