No. I like who I am. The fact that I like who I am is because of all the things that have happened to me. That's what makes us who we are....all the good, all the bad that has happened. If you are truly happy with who you are today you should not want to miss what you used to be.
Unhappy people miss who they used to be. I am happy. I hope you are too!

Yes, I look back on when I was healthy and could do the things a normal person does like work and go out. Now I am just a shell of my old self my health has deteriorated so much I am totally disabled. I can't work and it is hard for me to do the things that are necessary to do like buy groceries, go to the doctors, clean my home, go to a movie, just to be able to get out.

I miss the vigor of youth and would love to have the young body back, but I wouldn't trade it for who I am now. It's taken me a long time to get to where I have understanding, acceptance and confidence. I'm not willing to give that up.

No, not at all! Because who I used to be brought me to now and I would not change that for the world!
