Does it change if the later on is much later like years later?

I've done many things I regret but I've never done anything knowing going in that I would regret it and I wouldn't of had I known I'd regret it or taken the time to think about the decision. As to if I'd only regret it later in life, I wouldn't do anything knowing I'd regret it but there are probably things I'd do not realizing that I would regret it if the regret is going to happen far into the future. :)

sometimes you have no choice or at least no better option than to do something now that you know you will regret later even if its only a few weeks.
