That depends on what you mean by a guest.
For example, my sisters are frequent guests in my home. I get pretty miffed when they don't pick up after themselves and if I've made dinner for them, I expect them to offer to load the dishwasher.
When my mother in law visits from 1000 miles away, I don't expect her to do much more than visit with her son and grandkids. If she offers, then that's great, but not necessarily expected.

Actually, yes! I live near Myrtle Beach and have much company on the way to the beach or on their way to Florida. I would appreciate guests stripping the guest room beds of the sheets for the wash and especially those with dogs, clean up my yard for I don't have a dog and I work in my yard.

To a degree, but if they are guests, do you really think they should have to clean up after themselves? Isn't that your job as the host?

Actually, no it doesn't. I have invited them, so that means that I have to clean up after them. If its at a party, then yes, I would mind. I dont like someone putting dirty glasses and dishes around when there is a sink or a trash bag. Now that is wrong!

Only if it's someone that's a close friend, family member, etc.
REAL guests should be waited on. The rest should make themselves at home and lend a hand!!

But there's usually at least one person who pitches in to help clean up.
