If a kid is old enough to be trouble like my 1st daughter was,
the kid is old enough for tough love. She is of very high mentality, a mentally gifted minor, but the child in her made statements like "I feel like just running away" because weekend TV was off at midnite. I told her at age 12, "Say that once more, you best mean it, so help me gawd, I'll have you packed & out in a minute." She left the family at age 15,
with no contact til age 16, sharing a house rent, working.
Nurturing w/ Independancy go hand in hand from infancy.
Then all kids could be out of the barn early at 15.
Minors that are thrown out or run off, like some peers my
daughter went to school with , not having 'a full deck,' are
some of the misfits, hard drug re-habs I help today.
To work, a parent or guardian needs to be sure there is nothing they lack knowing in Child & Adolescent Psychology.
It will provide proper measures, not passive or dominant.

Well, sure it's been done in the past. What age one becomes a legal adult is a cultural convention more than a biological one. At some points in history, one could have been classed as an adult at puberty, around 12-13.
15 seems very reasonable compared to that.

i do no longer think of that if an adolescent gets pregnant the mum and dad must be charged with forget. i a hundred% agree that 13-14-15 (etc) 365 days olds should not be having intercourse. although a make certain can do their ultimate (and so can the faculties) to instruct them approximately intercourse and supply them protection (in case they're having intercourse) yet whilst an adolescent nevertheless gets pregnant there is no way for a make certain to avert that. i exceedingly doubt there are various mum and dad available could choose for his or her teen to come returned living house pregnant and that i do no longer think of this is appropriate to hold the mum and dad in charge for each case. each and every so often there is no longer something a make certain can do. i think of that if the mum and dad are charged with forget it is going to easily provide those childrens yet in any different case out.. what i recommend is it supplies them somebody else in charge to no longer point out if those mum and dad are charged or put in detention center then the place will those childrens be? they'll have not have been given any help in any respect. no longer that i think of an adolescent ought to fullyyt place self belief of their mum and dad yet in many aspects this is the case. i think of in the event that they're going to enforce something like this then it often is the teenager being charged with something. they're people who're going off and doing the flaws they do no longer seem to be questioning with regard to the outcomes so i think of they're those that could desire to incur despite comes from it (different then the being pregnant).

yeah. all you have to do is watch how fast kids mature based on their family and lifestyle and you could see that. and by the way many of the 18 year old "adults" who go out into the real world aren't ready either, because they're sheltered and babied and spoiled.

This is sooo beyond anything that would happen in this country, We allow our children to be children. It is such a short period in a person's life. You have to face the harsh realities in life soon enough, I'm glad this country tries to protect it's youth the way we do.

No. A 15 year old's brain is still developing, and has not reached full adult maturity.

Maybe. Never thought about it. I am middle aged and still living with and being supported by my parents.
