I'm not that ambitious to get to the top level. I just want to provide good answers to the best of my ability and hope it is good advice or opinion to that question.

I'm already there.
I didn't really have a strategy until I was nearly there - then I just spent the weekend on Y!A until I got those last few hundred points.
Now I wonder why I bothered!

Get on Y/A for short amounts of time, but OFTEN throughout the day and answer a few each time! That way you don't burn out!=)

to answer as many questions, and as honestly as I can so that I get the points, as well as the 10 pts for best answer, and all the while hoping for shiny top contributor's badge.
