I've come across a couple of different answers. The first linked page says they're worth no more than 20 cents, while the second one says $5 and up. The third page seems to confirm the first one. Your best bet would be to find a coin dealer in your area and have them look at it, as the condition of the coin will greatly impact its value.

money wise, a 1945 penny isn't considered much.

a worth penny would be one from the early, early 1900s. but just because it's a 1945 penny doesn't mean you should throw it away. Keep it as a treasure for now because 1945 was a significant time period. :)
