Those are nice thoughts but not possible in the present world circumstances. If you want to throw flowers pack up and move to San Francisco and live with all the other hippies. They don't believe there's a need for the U.S. Armed Forces. It's a sanctuary city for illegal aliens who refuse to pay taxes, become American citizens, break American laws and then flee from prosecution. The Federal Government should let the secede from the Union and withdraw all support. When terrorists infiltrate the mass commune called San Francisco and start killing them for being infidels they'll come crying for help want guns and ammunition to fight the terrorists. Peace can only be realized by having a strong defense against Islamic terrorists.

I wish we could. But alas! I don't see this happening during my life time. Through I pray from the bottom of my heart everyday, may the Lord heal this world with its mankind. We know war can do no good but we still fight with each other. I only wish if I was born few hundred years ago. I remember the happy life styles of my grandparents and their parents but I can only live in the present moment. And for this, I thank my Lord with my every breath that comes out of my mouth.

There is never going to be a nice community of which there is all love and no war. It's unrealistic.

People are not taught to love and like everyone. They are taught to backstab, trash talk, and kill.

It's sad really but that's how it is...

I'd love to like everyone but even myself I cannot stand atleast 20 people! Sad but true! People just rub me the wrong way, do idiotic things and live lifestyles I do not agree with.

No one will ever agree on the way a person should be so no one will ever have a community of love like you'd want.

I doubt you remember it, but we tried this back in the 60's. Had the whole world active in the Peace and Love generation. They put us in prison. They murdered us. They poisoned our pot (does anyone remember paraquat?). Sorry, but hatred only understands force. You can put a flower in the barrel of an M16, but the bullet still comes out. It's a nice thought, but face it, there are those who love to cause strife and there always will be. Peace.

Who doesn't want peace and friendship? It could/should start with two people and spread to 2 billion or so people,,,,,but, something stops it .....hate/anger

I wish that that would happen but in today's world it can not be done. People have big egos, and we just live in a fast pace world. But when we go to heaven everything will change.
