I think I'm so open, pretty much everyone knows my life. I try not to have secrets. I can keep them if someone tells me something, but I don't like to have them myself.
That way, people cannot come back and harm you with something unknown. If I did wrong, I Try to make it right and admit it.
I'm no saint, by far! Just had someone use and abuse me. Don't want to EVER be there again. Without ammunition, it is harder. Still, there are lies. But those who know me wouldn't believe them...and those who do believe them obviously didn't know me, so it doesn't really matter.

But of course...don't we all? Secret's are best kept that way...secret. At least from the person they might hurt the most.
