I put a sticker on my cell just for fun thinking I'd take it off in a few minutes, but I left it on for days too lazy to take it off and now when I try to, that sticky residue is on my cell.

how do I get rid of the sticky stuff?

Use either an alcohol wipe or a paper towel wet with rubbing alcohol and just wipe it off.

I guess that depends on what the sticky stuff is...

If it's food-based a rag with mild soap and a damp cloth should do the trick. If it's some kind of an adhesive, I'd use alcohol and a rag to loosen it.

There are several products. One I know is Goo gone. You can try any kind of oil and let it soak and gradually scratch it off.
