when the sun expands into a giant red star in 4 and a half billion years from now can someone print my question and mail it to an alien life form(with my email address and adress) and send word back if the earth itself survives????(we all know nothing on earth will survive)

Hi. Hard to say whether the planet itself will be destroyed. Depends on temperature and tidal forces. My guess in that it will not. (Of course, I'm not a future alien.)
