i just graduated yesterday from 8th grade. im leaving all 34 kids in my class but 1. the guy im going to hi school with i guess im friends with but not tight like i am with my four beset friends. i dont know why im not crying or sad. even though i know that it really is sad that i might leave some of these great characters and never see them again. i dont know why things never hit me til way after they happen

well u just passed your 8th grade and you aren't sad about it.
thats not unusual cause when i graduated from my tenth grade i was as officially sad but unofficially i was as happy as a i ever could be,, i think when there is something coming ahead in your life that you are really looking forward to then you are not sad about what is going to be left behind. i guess this is what is happening in your case..
in future whenever you have to let go of some friends or your entire class just think there is nothing left to do after this then maybe it would hit you right away that u are going to miss them a lot....
if now you are sad recollecting your memories of the past think what lies ahead of u is what matters and not what is left behind...

You will find in your later years that most of the people or even all of them that you know in school you will never see or hear from again when you become an adult. There maybe 1 or two that you keep in contact with over the years, but usually not more than that. Friends come and go all through life, just enjoy them and be good to them when they are around you. There are a lot of people in this old world so there is a lot of potential friends.

nothing is wrong with you! you are moving on to a new part of your life! you should be excited!!!! i dont think you should be worried about crying because you obviously have a lot of appreciation for those you are leaving behind. who says you can never see them again? if they are important to you... stay in touch!! practically everyone has a myspace now-a-days anyway. youll be fine, and dont forget to look forward to a new stage of your life--before you know it, youll be thinking the same thing while leaving for college.

you're probably a bit in a stage of shock or subconciously in denial. yesterday was my last day at my school and i'm being separated from most of my friends....trust me, there is such a thing as too many tears sometimes

Nothing is wrong with you. You have an e-mail account so you have e-mail, phones, reg. mail, and your mom's can drop ya'll off at the movies or something right? So don't say you'll never will see them again. good luck.

the same had hapenned with with me when i had to leave my school after 10th in India. dont take tension. guys like us are made to be tough and it shows that we have a greater control over our emotions.

welll you still have all summer to chill with your best friends! schools not everything it will be good you can make new friends and stay friends with you old friends, maybe you are ready for somthing new and thats why your not sad??
