I have a very small closet space. The floor of my closet is hard to see b/c I have my school bags, workout bag, daily tote, purse, make-up bag, and etc. Is there a good way to organize these bags? I dont want to have to hang them either. Thanks.

Would they fit on one of those hanging shoe organizers? Not the kind that goes on the door, but on the kind that hangs in the closet rod. Or a hanging organizer for sweaters? It would go from the rod to the floor and it would be sort of like shelves. It wouldn't take up much horizontal space and it would make use of the vertical space.

And you could see them all. Most of them are open or clear in the front.

First get a couple of boxes and sort as you remove items. Put the good things you no longer wear in one box to go to The salvation army or other agency to help people. In the second box put all the things that you have kept but no longer need and will never us. Trash this one.

Do you have space on the floor of your closet for a shoe rack. You can also visit: http://tiny.cc/Hanging-Organizer
