BTW her ears flop down, she is pretty small, she has 2 grey stripes across her cheek, and she has 2 small gray markings on her back

Does she also have grey feet and nose? If so, she's likely a Himalayan...I used to have one, they're great. Check out this website: http://ahra.himmie.net/

well it would help if you gave us a picture or a description of the body type because that could be any breed. now for variety I can help with that information. look at the hair is it like more than one shade of grey or only one. if it is only one then see if it is more a steel blue grey. If it is the steel blue grey it is a blue, if it more than one shade of grey it is a chinchilla, if it is neither of those then it is a genetic flub of some kind (which is ok for pet rabbits but not for show).

To find your breed try going onto the ARBA website, it you can't find it there you probably have a crossbred.

oh and if it is a show rabbit and there is only color on the ears then it is not showable and you should probably find it a good home, it it is a pet then congratulations on your new friend.

she is a lop of some kind then, probably a holland lop, and again if it is a show rabbit then it must have more that 10% color and a butterfly on its nose (just a marking and it must cover the nostral)

Based on the characteristics you described it sounds like your bunny is a Holland lop. Floppy ears are characteristic of a lop bunny. Holland lops are the smallest of the lop bunnies.

You may want to consider visiting The American Rabbit Breeders Association, Inc site at:

Or you might consider asking either a veterinarian or a rabbit breeder in the area if they are able to determine what kind of bunny you have. You may want to keep in mind that your bunny could be a mixture of different breeds.

Enjoy your new bunny! She sounds like a cutie!

Best wishes!

Sounds like you have some sort of broken variety lop breed or it even could be a mixed breed rabbit. You really need to have a picture or a link to a picture.

There are so many different breeds and color patterns. How big is he? and are the ears straight or floppy?
