I hope he can stay injury free and break some records again.
He is insanely fast.

I think teams will be ready for him this year. Remember a couple years back when a guy by the name of Donte Hall was lighting teams up on special teams? Now you hardly hear about him at all. The same thing will unfortunately happen to Devin Hester.

Hester will always be a threat, but like Dante Hall, Michael "Beer Man" Lewis, Billy "White Shoes" Johnson, Rick Upchurch and other great returners before, the other league special teams coaches will scheme to get a good returner off their groove.
It will be a rookie who will surprise again.

The windy city flyer will not have as good as numbers as he did last year but he will be a bigger factor. Kickers would rather shank one out of bounce than have Devon fly past everyone on his way to the endzone. Look for a lot of squib kicks on kickoffs and look for most of the punts to go out of bounce. Nobody is a better return man. Just ask Madden 08

His Production will drop because teams will start to kick away from him or kick it off the ground to stop him from touching the ball and so he can do what he does score but the bears are gonna be Smart about it and git him the ball other ways like him playing receiver or handing the ball off to him something like that they ll get the ball in his hands so he can make plays he might not be as productive in the special teams game but hell make up for it in other ways you ll see hes an invaluable member of the bears

His numbers will definitely drop off this season. He won't ever have another season like last season ever again on special teams. HOWEVER, if he actually learns how to become a decent WR (he hasn't learned much about playing ANY real position so far in his football career), he could have a fantastic career.
Hester is a great athlete, but it remains to be seen if he is a great football player.

He will return 4 for touchdowns this season. Repeating 6 retruns for TDs is way too hard to repeat. Teams now know where to kick and who to kick to. He will be a decent WR though. I think he will have 400-500 yards reciving and 3 TDs.

i think when the ball is kicked his way he will still put up the same production states he did a year ago. Hes also playing WR this year .. and with his speed and ability watch out for him on the wr screens and the deep routes from the slot possition

Usually after s player makes a statement in special teams the next season his production drops off because teams figure out how to contain him

I don't think anyone will kick to him this year... Look back at Danta Hall, after his big year everyone stayed away from him......
