OMG..yes!!!! For the 1st time about 2 months ago. My hubby and I were driving in this really remote area and all of a sudden I saw it--it was so close-- and I was so shocked and said to hubby "OMG! I think I just saw a bald eagle!!" And he said NAHHH..it was probably some other kind of bird. " So after about 10 min we come to this intersection and there is this huge sign that said we were in a Bald Eagle Preserve. We had no idea cuz we were lost anyway but oh it felt so good to be right!!!
And I will never forget the breathtaking sight of that eagle soaring out of sight!

Yes, I see Bald Eagles flying near my home at least once a month. It's still an amazing sight everytime I see them.

Yes. I live in west central Illnois along the Mississippi RIver. We have 12 that live here. They came last winter and never left.

yes - I've seen them closer up too while fishing and my neice had a summer job handling raptors at the Columbus Zoo. I have a pic of her on my fridge holding a mature adult female on her gloved arm.

They occasionally come around here. A couple weeks ago I saw a pair of them. One was up in a tree with a fish it had just caught.
