Replace the group of words, ‘with respect to distance’ by the single word ‘ gradient’.
Velocity gradient means change in velocity with respect to distance
Pressure gradient means change in pressure with respect to distance
Temperature gradient means change in temperature with respect to distance.
Acceleration gradient means change in acceleration with respect to distance
Force gradient means change in force with respect to distance

This is a defect in the English language; we should try to fix it. I like "distancewise". How about distancular or farical. Anybody know what it is called in other languages?
As for "gradient", that can be with respect to just about anything.
Displacement is a measure of volume.
