Well, I checked out where they were heading, they came in from one corner of teh wall, and i doused that area with insect killer, for ants, they made a trail from one leg of the couch , along the back part of the couch where the pillows rest, then down the other side then trailed to my other couch, yes, I think it could be a spilled drink, yet, dont smell anthing and I looked all over that couch and found nothing, just a few crumbs but thats it.

Ants usually are coming and going from something they can take to their nest. If there is no food source, they should not be in your couch. There is one possibility, but it is rare. There are ants that are attracted to termite nests. I have never seen this, but there is some evidence that it is true.
For the time being you just need to use a good ant killer and get rid of them. If you have kids or pets, be sure to put the poison where they will not be affected.

Just spraying the area with "bug spray" will kill the ants you see but will not stop them. Most sprays kill and disrupt the pheromone trail which will scatter them. You need to find the source (Look all around outside)and use a bait to eliminate them.Or call a pro to help out.

They may be nesting in your couch.
Get some bug bombs to kill them and then vacuum everything and repeat bug bomb after a week.
it worked for me.
