I am looking for a new "style." I am a 17 year old who constantly is still asked if I want a kiddie menu cuz I look 12. My boyfriend gets made fun of and his friends tease him about dating a "12 year old." So here's the deal. I need a girl who's really good at this stuff. I'll send you a pic of me and I need ideas about what to do with my hair (I've tried dying it - but that's it), what type of clothes to wear, what to do with make-up (I usually don't wear any at all), etc - basically - I need to know how to look my age and just kinda get a new complete style cuz i'm bored with mine. It really hasn't changed in the past 17 years. I'll be willing to try almost anything and I'd like as much help as I can. The person who does the best gets the points :-) Leave your email or AIM or something in the "reference" box please

also - I have a myspace with lots of pics of me. I do sometimes wear make-up, but not a lot. Only when I dress "cute" (jeans and "cute" shirt and have lots of spare time...which means maybe once a month). also - money is a slight concern until i find another job, so nothing too major. i've seen sites where you can upload your pic and try differen hair styles - does anyone know one of those sites that's free?

1] I know exactly how you feel! when I was 18 people thought I was 12; and I got carded until I was 35! [ and the drinking age was 18! ] You will be happy about it when you are 50 and don't look it.
2] Wear 'young lady' clothes.[ not necessarily girly, but sophisticated. ] No boy clothes, or juvenile clothes. Wear tops that are at least slightly fitted, to show your waist/bosom. Wear shoes no boy would wear [ ballet, wedges, pink sneakers ].
3] get a 'grown up' hairdo. No extra long, or headbands, or baby barettes. Try shorter, layered, with side swept bangs.
4] wear [ grownup or classic ] earrings, and a ring or bracelet
5] wear some makeup - lip color, some blush, and mascara.
Shape and darken your eyebrows, if need be.

Hey....here is what you can do for your new you!
Make-up:
- first wash ur face from the dirt
- put on foundation that matches ur skin color and put it on very lightly....enough to cover any blackheads, pimples, or discolartions in ur face.
- now, add a little blush. maybe pink- light redish. smile and put the blush on the apples of ur cheeks!!
- now, add very little eyeshadow. maybe red or blue! any color u want.just dont put too much. and if u want also put a little mascara to make ur eyelashes more full and a bit longer.
- now add a dark colored lip gloss. so it looks like ur wearing lip stick and lip glosss...but ur just wearin lip gloss! lol! cool right!!
so yeah, every make-up u wwear should be light. u want more of a natural look---U DONT WANT TO LOOK LIKE A CLOWN
and the best make-up is when u dont put alot!
u will look very pretty now!!
Clothes-
Dress sophisticated and preppy. Because clothes and your style really affects how you look and how old people think you are. IF you are 17 and dress like a 12 year old, people will assume your 12!! So try and dress more like an adult, more sophisticated. Try:
---Forever 21, they have the latest trends but for cheap. I really reccommend because they are sophisticated and right for your age type.
--- Wear Kimono shirts and nice pants or trousers and pencil or flowy skirts. They are very feminime and sophisticated if your pair ir off right.
--- wear Bolder colors, dont wear a shirt with too many patterns or else you will just look mismatched! Try looking in magazines at other stars, they can help.
--- You can wear a pair of jeans when ever you want if you miss them! LOL! But just make sure to pair it off with a sophisticated top, maybe a bold color, like red or blue. And make it a classy top so you look evenly dressed.
--- Heels, heels, heels!! Heels are great for older people, it gives you some length and makes you very sexxy! IN the winter wear the boots, in the summer make it opened- toed!
--- you can also wear ballet flats for a more casual, soft, and simple look! Flip- flops are good too! WEar them often to make you look a little younger like 16 or such!
Hair:
--- wear ur hair in a bun, ponytail, headbands, or add barrettes. Also, the bump on the top of your head is always in and stylish! Try it!
--- Add oil and anti-frizz creme to your hair to make it luscious, soft, and silky!!
---GEt highlights maybe blonde if you have brown hair. Also, get layers if you hve straight hair and sideswept bangs! You will look older with your bangs and they are very stylish!
--- Also, once in a while, try scrunching your hair with gel and mousse, you will look sohpisticated if you pair off with the right top!
Just be happy with yourself! And you should be grateful that you look younger! I am only 12, and i look like 15 or somehting!! LOL! So your lucky!!! LOL, strut your stuff girl!

Match your eye shadow with the shirt you are wearing.
Wear a brown eyeliner on the top of your lower lid.
Use a good marcara that makes your eye lashes look super long.
I don't think a base is really needed!
