Philips. Because as a Carpenter I know flathead (as you put it) slips off the screw head too easily.

Robertson. Have you ever stripped a screw with one?? Much more difficult, so much less annoying :=). If powered?? All the better. Less potential for blisters and much less work...perhaps it is personal preference. My least fav: phillips. I always strip the darn screw. Maybe I have more favs in terms of screws than screwdrivers though...
