No, the rights are not available for that type of use. If you did it you could be sued for a lot of money by the company that owns the movie.

Probably not, I am Sam is a movie, not a play. This is not a copyright issue.

I doubt if the production company and screenwriter would let a school modify anything in their production. It's written the way THEY WANT IT!

You would have to get the copyright ok, which I am sure is very hard for a movie like that

Our school did "Go Ask Alice" for a play last year.
