Currently planning a move to Morelia, Mexico. My girlfriend just took a teaching job at Universidad Internacional Jefferson (Jefferson International University). And we've been trying to check out apartments on-line and get an idea of what to expect when we move. Does anyone know of any good region specific sites to look up houses/apartments for rent? They can be in either spanish of english, doesn't matter.

The Internet is not the place to look for rentals unless you have a large budget. Much better to look while you are there, find a good area and see the place in person.

The 2 local papers don't have a classified section that I can find

The army and drug cartels are in open warfare in the state of Michaocan and that includes Morelia. Check the news, they just killed several soldiers close by in the last few weeks.

Good luck, it is a beautiful area.
