Just bought my first bike this week. I'm 5'5" (and 3/4") and my feet touch the ground, but not completely (heels don't reach). According to manu. specs. the seat height is about 31" high. I would like to seat to be an inch or two lower so I can practice riding a bit more comfortably.

Were these seats made to be adjustable?
Or is this something of a more "Custom" matter?
Would lowering the bike be better (if it's safe for that model), if the seat isn't adjustable?

Don't have the owner's manual, I bought it used a few days ago.

All feedback appreciated, thanks in advance!

The seats aren't adjustable.
But you can lower the seat height by lowering the suspension with "lowering links".

Nope, but a lowereng kit can be had, or a custom seat.
