I love all holidays, because we get time off, see our families !
I especially love the Christmas holiday because
my little family and I spend it in the Caribbean every
year.
But those are the only reasons, I don't appreciate that
many of them have become so commercialized ! You feel
like you absolutely have to get something for somebody !
I prefer to give something from the heart, not because I
have too ! It's alot more special that way !

Back when I was in Dominica, it used to be Christmas, Easter, summer, Independence (November 3-4), Ash Wednesday--in fact, practically every school break there was. Now, in CT, it's just the first three, along with Labour Day in September.
