I would like to invent two things:
1. A food (or pill) to provide all the nourishment the body needs that tastes like anything you want, has only healthy nutritional value, won't make you fat or cause any unhealthy side-effects.
2. A device (or pill?) that will allow humans to breath underwater or in space indefinitely, without any decompression complications.

if there's time travel, i would invent "place travel". Like a remote control connected to your PC where you just type in the place/country you want to go to and presto....! you are there.
no visa, no plane fare.
