Right now she needs her friends to be there for her. Listen to her and try to be understanding. I think it's a great idea to get her out and get her mind on something else for a while. Just remember she's going through a lot right now so just be her friend.

Sort out if you are looking for a way to steal her away or not. And try to evaluate if she is open to it. I have a feeling this might not be a good time, as if she is close to him, she will be worried and not needing or welcoming the distraction of your attention.

See if you can be self-disciplined enough to just let this play out without moving in while he's still in the hospital. A suicide attempt is very serious, and for you to interfere at this time doesn't sound sensible to me. Further, if she has now had her own breakdown, give her time to heal.

Good you care about her. Don't talk to her through the best friend. Tell her yourself. Starting a relationship now won't be a good idea. Give her time to pull herself together. Be a friend, and that's all.

Boyfriend won't be in the hospital that long.

More drama on the horizon.

do yourself a favor and forget it. all thats going to happen is your going to really like her, and she will you, until her boyfriend gets out. you wont believe me tho, so go ahead, but thats what will happen.
