It sounds like you come from a ethnic group where women have no rights, and you seem to adopt a very accepting stance to it all. Reading your story, I feel that it's likely that he married you for access to a country that he might not have gained otherwise. And YES, YOU ARE DEFINITELY BEING ABUSED. BOTH VERBALLY AND PHYSICALLY. You must know that this is not right and leave him/next time, call the police and have him removed from the property. If I were you, I'd call the police so that you have a place to stay and HE can get kicked out. Don't doubt yourself either - you are right - you should never be hit or spoken to in that way. And your children shouldn't be seeing that either. Good luck

He sounds like a pouty, insecure, irrational, petty little boy. I'm sorry, but there's something wrong with him. I am not sure what, but mental illness comes to mind. You're giving him everything and he's unhappy. I'm sorry, but he's very ungrateful, foolish and I'm afraid, stupid. The physical abuse is inexcusable. You should leave him, not return, and find a way to divorce him. I would also suggest that he not be around your baby until he can control himself. His anger and viciousness towards you is outright criminal. He's supposed to love you, not treat you lower than an animal.

According to the link below, "waiter's assistant" is the only synonym for busboy. It also has the words "dining-room attendant" and "restaurant attendant" as related words. So, I guess all three could be the same as a busboy.

Hope that helps.
