Yes. It all started as a joke. Everyone who knows me at all knows that I don't like to sing, so one day it was pouring and I went out and started jumping around and dancing in the rain, my friend started singing. "She's a maniac, maniac in the rain!" to the tune "Maniac". And another one started singing "She's dancing in the rain, just dancing in the rain. What a gut-busting feeling I'm feeling again" to the tune "Singing in the rain". That was a while ago, but ever since, I'll do it anyway because I no longer go to the same school as my friends.

Thank you!!! Reading your question just brought back memories from my childhood. On overcast summer days when I was at my grandparents' house, I would ask my family if I could go on the porch (they would only let us go out there if there was no lightening, of course). I would sit on the front porch & wait for the rain to start, then I would run & dance in the front yard. It was so much fun because it was something we didn't usually get to do. That was also about the only time we went in the front yard; all other times we played in the back yard.
Again thank you for bringing back such a nice memory from my childhood!

Yes I have danced in the rain quite a bit. I used to do it often when I was a child, and most recently, when on vacation visiting a dear friend. I must admit, I had been drinking a bit on that occasion! Good times!

Yes with a partner too. I love to dance and dancing in the rain is fabulous. It's those magical moments that make everything so worth it.

Yes, sometimes to feel better but mostly I dance in the rain when I'm feeling happy or playful.

Today!! It has been months since it has rained here, but it started raining late this afternoon - thank you, Hurricane Barry. It was so wonderful that I pulled off my clothes and danced naked in the rain until my hair was soaked and my feet were muddy. It was fun.

No, but I watched a neighbor do it until she danced out into the street and was hit by a pickup truck, the driver of which was temporarily blinded by the downpour. Sure did take care of all her sorrows - permanently!

Of course! Countless times when I was little, I'd get my umbrella and belt out "Singin' in the Rain."
I still go dance in drizzles, especially in my backyard. I do it because water falling on you is probably one of the most pleasant feelings ever, and it makes me giddy and silly-feeling.
