I've heard of folks using toothpaste on their un-popped zits because it dries-out the eruption. Popping your zit can leave you with a scar. I would recommend using proactive instead, it works quickly & effectively without scarring.

Yep or colgate. That's an old models' secret. I've been doing it for years ever since I read about it in a cosmopolitan article. You put a tiny dab over night. Should disappear in a couple of days.

any toothpaste helps as long as it doesn't have whitening in it then it doesn't work, try using egg whites or rubbing lemon juice on it..an old wise tale says rubbing a cut potato on it due to the starch

NO! toothpaste cannot go on skin! it will burn it off! it happened to me a while back, my face was gross, it was all red, and secreted this wierd liquid stuff. eventually it healed, but there is alot of scarring. IF YOUR SMART, DONT USE TOOTHPASTE, FOR ANYTHING BUT YOUR TEETH!

I would just let it be.
Adding chemicals to an open wound seems silly.
Apply a warm compress.
