I have seen people hang clear plastic bottles (empty cooldrink ones) in their trees..the movement and the shine off of them scares the birds away...otherwise they put nets over the trees...Here's to nice tasty peaches....

Maybe the plastic owl (the one where his head spins all the way around). I know that the rubber snakes from walmarts toy department works to keep the birds from making a nest under a carport. There is a plastic mesh that some nurseries sale that keep birds out of gardens but I don't know if it would work on a peach tree.

you can do a couple of things, you can hang wind chimes so when the wind blows or they land on the branches they noise will scare them off. A cheaper way to go is to take those nasty plastic bags from the grocery store and tie them down with some string so they fly like a small kite in the tree, this method will work to scare them.
Be glad the birds like the peaches, they know which fruit to eat and they only pick at the ripen fruit, so if you can salvage a some that as bird pecks just cut around where they ate and enjoy as this piece will probably be one of the sweetest on the tree. Good luck.

Plastic owls don't work for very long. The birds figure out pretty quick that they're not moving or alive. A combination of different stuff works best, especially if you move them around and keep adding more - owls, blowup snakes, mylar balloons , mylar bird scare tape, metal piepans - anything new, different, and moving makes them wary.....you want them to see it and think, what the hell is THAT?

My favorite deterrent is the Jackite windsock. It flies like a real bird and scares the bejesus out of any bird in the area. The osprey and eagle work equally well. On the downside, they are not cheap - $60-$100 for a whole setup. But they look really cool, and they work!

I've heard good things about the owls.

A lady I know also swears by a blow up snake. You cna find them in some places still, but you'll have to move it around about twice a week.

I also hear that tinsel, sparkly wind chimes, and most anything that shines and moves in the breeze will keep them away.

Of course, there's also the old stand by answer of shooting at them with a pellet gun. I don't know how you feel about that, but I can assure you it's not as easy as it sounds, for any number of reasons.

Hi I wonder if spraying your peaches with a mix of cayenne powder/paprika and dishsoap & water would work?

Cayenne powder 2 tsp
Paprika 4 tsp
1 TB of dishsoap
1 L of water

shake up & spray where needed (it does work btw with squirrels and green salad items in the garden).

Good luck

Hang disposable aluminum pie pans on strings so that they blow in the wind and reflect sunlight. The birds will not come near your tree again.

I hope this helps!

there are fruit tree nets you can buy at nurseries or hardware stores. you throw it over the whole tree. birds still get to a bit of the fruit but not all of it. m
