I don't see, why you can't be both, but based on experience, I get what you are saying, in terms of individuality. I know a lot of people who are extremely popular, because they will do anything to fit in. I have never been that kind of person. If being me means that I can't be a part of your group, then so be it. I'm not a puppet, to be dangled for your amusement. I have my own way of thinking and doing things, and pride myself, on being an individual. If you can accept that, fine, but if not, I didn't need you, in the first place.

Absolutely not. I would much rather be a decent, nice (sweet) person.. than be popular. Popularity is really not worth anything in my eyes.

I'd rather be unpopular than live a lie.
I will only be nice and sweet to the nice and sweet.

You mean nice and sweet people are not popular? Well, I have always wondered why I was not popular. Thanks for letting me know.

Be yourself, popularity won't get you far in life. It's a temporary thing. Your personality is permanent.
