If you're going to spend the hard earned bucks for a new LCD monitor, purchase one the supports both AGP and DVI. If your current computer does not support DVI you could up grade in the future. All that is needed is to install a Graphics card that supports DVI, and a simple BIOS change.
Also, if you were to purchase a new machine, and you will some time in the future, you will already have a good monitor.

It's an easy answer... DVI
Which is always better Analog or Digital?
You we'll need to check out your computer specs to see if you'll even see the differents i.e. graphics card and monitor.
If your a gamer or watch DVDs go DVI... don't rush out and get it unless you need it as most can't see the differents.

DVI, BUT, you won't notice any great difference doing general work. You only will with high def graphics programs and games.

DVI, but make sure your graphics card supports it. Otherwise you are paying for a technology that you won't be able to use.

You want HDMI with 1080p resolution. DVI will convert to HDMI.
