try mavis beacon and download their program (google it). it'll allow you to practice typing and eventually you'll get the hang of it. Chatting online often on MSN, AIM, or Yahoo helps you get better at typing too. I'm not kidding! Trust me, most of my friends, including myself, have found our typing skills improved after years of online chatting. good luck

The easiest way to learned to type is to practice and practice. When I was in college they had a computer program that would time you and it would always freak me out. It wasn't until after I graduated that I stopped looking down at the keyboard. Instead of yaking on the phone with your friends get into the habit of sending e-mails back and forth to get practice.

here's one trick that you could use is to tape a piece of paper over the keyboard so the piece of paper would cover the keys preventing you from looking at the keys.
