i fall asleep to the sound of it and love it...i also love the sound of silence...just pure silence in the dark...

Well, the sound I HATE is the bloody train that passes near my house several times a day!!! Now rain, ahhh, yes, bring it on, only mix a bit of thunder in, if you would please.
I also love to hear genuine laughter, the honkin' geese, a fiiiine tuned Harley,mmmm, and of course, good music.

I like the sound of bird's chearping ,,,my dad use to love the rain so much that he would take me out in the car when it rained so hard and we would just sit there and listen and watch.......

I love the sound of rain but I think it sounds even better on a tin roof. :) I also love the sound of water lapping against the side of a boat.

Whenever I'm in the mood to go to sleep, I welcome the sound of rain, because rain takes me to sleep. Whenever I'm trying to get something done, or wish to go out somewhere, I don't appreciate the sound of rain, because it's a sign I've got to stay in the house, or have rain mess up my glasses as I'm maneuvering my wheelchair. I hate having to maneuver my wheelchair while out in the rain.

I LOVE the sound of rain. Rain is my favorite weather. There is no better sound in teh whole world, than the sound of rain.

I love the sound of rain but I also love the crash and boom of thunder and lightening as well as the sound of wind blowing through trees.

We used to live in a house with a tin roof. The rain on that roof was awesome!
