The rear wheel is a 17x3.5.The bike comes with a 130 tire out back. Can something wider than that fit on that stock wheel??If not , are there other wheels that can be used to hold a wider tire? Also, can the seat height be lowered considerably by adjusting the shocks??(Am used to 24-27in seat ht)The bike looks sharp and I am really interested in getting one, but am accustomed to the look of at least a 150 or 160 out back.Thanx

measure the distance between arm sides, they can fit bigger but you might have to change spacers

Basically the issue with wider tires on bikes is whether or not there's room in between the swing arms. Most bikes don't have room for much growth. Since you're looking at a new bike, talk to the dealership and see if a wider tire is an option.

If you want to lower the seat, there may also be a lowering kit for that bike. But just adjusting the shocks won't change much. If you soften it, it will ride lower, but it will also bottom out easier.

Stock size is optimum for average rider.
If you want wider tyre you need wider rim or it will
1. wear out faster
2. adversely affect handling
you shouldn't adjust seat hight by making suspension too soft.
Either fit shorter shocks or lowering blocks/links

The Bonny is a huge trip. Its made to look previous yet has all severe tech in it. the engine has 900ccm. this would possibly not be a small motorcycle. do no longer forget it is a roadster made for winding roads like the way they are in England. you may no longer trip a protracted monster and be very agile and in a position to force around tight winding roads. verify the Seat place, it facilitates to perspective down on windings. forget the Harleys, the bonny is bombing them away.
